Academic
The British University in Egypt (BUE)
It is a 15 years old private University, with 10 faculties, and 12 research centres, covering different fields such as renewable energy and nanotechnology. Of particular concern for us is the nanotechnology research center ( N.T.R.C) which is focused and well equipped to serve advances nanoscience into applications that reflect on the critical community needs, such as water and medicine.
Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST)
It is a research-oriented university that was first established as a bilateral agreement project between the Egyptian and Japanese governments in May 2009. E-JUST offers Bachler, Master (M.Sc.) and Ph.D. degrees in 4 Engineering and applied science schools specialized having 8 different departments and 4 programs. E-JUST has established 6 centers of excellences. The faculty of Engineering at E-JUST offers 12 Master and 12 Ph.D. degree programs in all fields, 4 of each are under the umbrella of Material Science and Engineering field; Nanoscience, Renewable Energy, Chemical Engineering and Energy Materials.
